Mane Event/Taste of Arlington Heights Spotlight: Rack House Kitchen & Tavern

Rack House Tavern & Kitchen is one of the featured food vendors at Taste of Arlington Heights this year, and boasts some special offerings you may not know about!

Rack House Kitchen & Tavern, 222 E. Algonquin Road is one of the participating food vendors at this year's Mane Event/Taste of Arlington Heights set for Friday, August 9 and Saturday, August 10 in downtown Arlington Heights.

The restaurant, which opened in March of this year, took over the former Boston Blackies location. According to General Manager Will Anderson, the business prides itself on its 1,200 pound meat smoker and is a whiskey and bourbon bar that specializes in Chicagoland craft beers as well.

Moonshine cocktails, along with their special smoked ribs and pulled pork will be featured selections at Taste of Arlington. Two area craft beers and a popular domestic also will be available at the event.

Rack House Kitchen & Tavern serves up a robust Sunday brunch, with a Mimosa and Bloody Mary bar, has a full-service outdoor seating area and space for private parties.

The upcoming football season will be the place to go to check out the games, when skybox and tailgating specials will be offered.
