Mane Event/Taste of Arlington Heights Spotlight: Peggy Kinnanes

The highly popular Irish Pub at 8 N. Vail Street provides a warm and inviting atmosphere Irish patrons, in addition to those who are by association.

Derek Hanley, owner of Peggy Kinnane’s Irish Pub, 8 N. Vail Street is proud of his Irish roots, which are truly grounding forces for his business today.

All of the interior, including Irish stone, the woodwork and even the bars, were constructed and shipped from Hanley’s homeland, in County Clare, Ireland.

Pictures, mementos and other tokens hung on the walls for decoration, also are pieces of Hanley’s Irish family history. He grew up observing the warmth and conversation at Setright’s Pub, also in County Clare and established by his grandfather.
