Saint Viator Students Recognized as National Merit Scholars
Local students excel in reading, math and writing, received a commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
Quincy is originally from Saginaw, Michigan, where his interest in news began.
He went on to major in Journalism at Michigan State University, earning a bachelors' and masters' degree. Quincy has worked for the New Citizens Press and ABC local news in Lansing, MI.
He also interned at the Capital News Service, which he covered many topics including the aids epidemic, budget issues, prison reform, banking reform and legislature procedure.
Before coming to arlingtonheights.patch.com, Quincy was the local editor of cary.patch.com, covering school, village and business issues for nearly two years.
