Police Want Help Finding Suspect

Police say a man grabbed a woman while she was jogging at Lake Arlington Park. They are looking for help identifying him.

Arlington Heights police are looking for help in identifying a man who grabbed a woman while she was jogging at Lake Arlington Park.

Police say at about 6 a.m., Sept. 26, the adult woman was jogging at the park when a male wearing dark clothing grabbed her from behind.

The offender then dragged her off the jogging path and forced her to the ground, police said. After a brief struggle, the offender ran away.

The victim was not injured. She could not help identify the subject, police said.

The Arlington Heights Police Department is seeking witnesses and is requesting assistance in identifying the offender. They say he is approximately 6 feet, with a thin build.
