Miner School, part of the Northwest Suburban Special Education Organization (NSSEO), provides social and academic services to students ages five through 21 who have learning, cognitive and emotional disabilities, language and health impairments and conditions on the autism spectrum. In addition to academic and social instruction, it also provides prevocational and vocational training and independent living skills to help students become productive and participating members of society. Psychologists, social workers, speech, physical and occupational therapists, nurses and other professionals are on hand to assist students with whatever they might need and small class sizes ensure individualized attention.
