WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Wednesday, January30th, Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth (IL-8) attended a Manufacturers Roundtable at DMG/ Mori Seiki University in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.Congresswoman Duckworth listened to local elected officials and members of the local business and education communities discuss the importance ofmanufacturing in the 8th Congressional District.
During the conversation, Congresswoman Duckworth emphasized increasing access to capital for small and medium sized businesses, providing funding to train workers in high paying manufacturing jobs and the importance of investing in infrastructure such as the Elgin O’Hare Expressway Western Access Project.
