Taste of Arlington Heights Aug. 11

Two big celebrations are less than a month away, plan ahead.

Are you ready for the weekend in Arlington Heights? 

The Mane Event and the Taste of Arlington Heights combine to make one of the biggest event weekend celebrations of the summer, on Aug. 10 and 11 in Downtown Arlington Heights, at the corner of Vail Avenue and Campbell Street.

This block-party styled weekend showcases live music from top local bands, food favorites from local restaurants, kids’ entertainment, a Business Expo and performances by the Top Five Finalists of Suburban Chicago’s Got Talent on Saturday afternoon.

Bring your family and invite your friends to Downtown Arlington Heights and enjoy the weekend of Mane Event, on Friday, August 10, organized by the Village’s Special Events Commission, followed by the Taste of Arlington Heights, on Saturday, August 11, sponsored by the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce and Verizon.

5:30 p.m. Business Expo: Local businesses showcase what they have to offer

6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Billy Elton: Their music will transport you to the excitement of Billy Joel and Elton John in concert.

8:30 p.m.- 10:30 p.m. Sixteen Candles Band: The band makes it their duty to bring the best songs of the 80s to life again.

Taste of Arlington Heights, Saturday, August 11  

3 p.m. the event starts

3:30 – 6 p.m. – The Top 5 Suburban Chicago’s Got Talent finalists perform

Winner of Suburban Chicago’s Got Talent & People’s Choice Winner announced live at 6 p.m.!

6:30 p.m. – He Said, She Said: Playing the greatest rock hits from your favorite bands.

8:30 pm – 7th Heaven: One of Chicagoland’s favorite rock bands.
