The Elite Soccer Community Organization (ESCO) is showing its support of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month by supplying over 400 U8-U18 Elite S.C. players and coaches on 33 teams, with pink shoelaces to wear in their cleats.
The "Think Pink" campaign is sponsored in part by Mitchell's Restaurant, 847 N. Wilke Road, in Arlington Heights.

In addition, ESCO is encouraging people to make a donation to the Northwest Community Hospital Breast Center's Gift-A-Mammogram Program or the Wellness Place in Palatine.
Elite Soccer formed ESCO in 2010 as a way to give back to the community. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, ESCO's mission is to build community by developing youth through soccer in the NW suburbs of Chicago.
