A 64-year-old Arlington Heights woman has been figure skating for more than 20 years.
Mary Ellen Gabler recently took first place in the Adult Silver division of the Chicago Open and will perform this December at the Hoffman Estates Park District's winter ice show, according to the Daily Herald.
