Thinking of Going Back to School? Harper is Hosting an Event For You

The college is hosting an event tonight geared toward adults looking to attend college classes.

When Annual Brackin was planning to return to college after 24 years in the corporate world, he had more to consider than just what classes to take: he was juggling family responsibilities, professional travel obligations and managing an apartment building.

Finding a program that allowed him to pursue a degree at an accelerated pace made the prospect more manageable.

“I was able to focus on one class at a time, getting as much as I could from each one without thinking too much about how far I was into the program,” Brackin said. “I waited 24 years to start back up in college, and I wanted that degree. One day I realized I was down to only three classes left and couldn’t believe how the time flew.”
