The Arlington Heights School District 25 school board approved a three-year contract to hire Lori Bein as the new superintendent for the school district, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Bein, who currently is the superintendent for Roselle School District 12, will receive a base salary of $201,840 under her contract, which extends from July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2017, according to the Chicago Tribune.
More than 50 people applied to file the spot currently held by District 25 Superintendent Sarah Jerome who will be retiring, according to the Daily Herald.
