Did yo feel the same way when Bush won his first term? Won the electoral college and lost the popular vote to Al Gore. This country has been 50/50 for over a decade. I am a Republican and I disagree with the path that my party is on. The Far right has gone too far and the party needs a new direction. The negitive campainging was on both sides of the asile and is very discourging.
Business owners are now laying off employees because of the Obama victory and what it means to their business. A Las Vegas owner laid off roughly 20% of his staff yesterday. Many Democrat voters just don't understand the implications of Obamacare on small business and the threat of higher tax rates and continued astronomical corporate tax rates. It's math, pure and simple.
Dan, True ... the economy remains in the toilet ... markets drop big time the very nextday ... housing still in the dumps ... unemployment figures still high and they don't even reflect the number of people that have just given up looking or no longer can claim unemployment compensation. Of course things 'look brighter', when you're at the bottom of the well the only place to go is up ... unless more government comes along and digs the well deeper!
Whomever you are the name calling doesn't offend me as much as your existence. You show by your remarks your IQ is probably less than the 100 some say they think is avg. You are no doubt typical of the liberals, but I wouldn't categorize you because any category I try to put you into would only insult the rest of those in that group. But it would be suffice to say you are a JACKASS
cares what you think of me. Clearly I don 't.
What has been happening & is still happening in Washington is like a divorce. Each side blames the other for the problems, & neither is willing to accept any blame for their part of the problems. No matter what political party we belong to, we need to hold our elected officials feet to the fire. There is a lack of civility in Washington & in Springfield, & both parties are equally to blame. If compromise cannot be reached, we are in for some very hard times. Our children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren will pay for the mistakes our government makes. It is definitely unfair to place that burden on them. BTW. My candidate lost!
(But just an FYI to wbpprint, IQ of 100 is by definition, average. The median of the bell curve is set at 100. I wont insult your intelligence, but you can easily google it if you wish)
