New Coffee Shop Coming to Arlington Park Station

Morning Blend will open at the station soon.

Metra commuters soon will find a new coffee shop at the Arlington Park station, the Daily Herald reports.

Morning Blend, which already has shops in stations in Highland Park, Mount Prospect, Northbrook and Villa Park, will open its Arlington spot within 90 days. The Arlington Heights village board approved a lease with the company this month, the publication reports. When it opens, it will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. five days a week, serving hot and cold drinks, as well as pastries, bagels and more.

Morning Blend was the only company that applied to fill the vacant spot. According to the villlage, it will pay Arlington Heights $200 a month for a year, for the first year of the rental agreement. After that, the price will go up by 5 percent per year.
