A Nativity scene and an anti-religious statement are co-existing at Arlington Heights North School Park the Daily Herald reported.
The newspaper reported that the Nativity scene is paid for by the chairman of the Illinois Nativity Scene Committee, Jim Finnegan. The sign – "Relgion is but a myth and superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds" – was placed by the Freedom From Religion Foundation.
