Arlington Heights Police to Hire 5 New Officers

Looking to hire five new patrol officers, Arlington Heights Police Department plans to fully staff force after position were left unfilled for years, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The Arlington Heights Police Department plans to hire five new patrol officers to fill positions that have been vacant for about two years, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The hiring process to fully staff the Arlington Heights force has already started. According to the newspaper, out of the roughly 200 applicants to take the entrance exam in January, the village’s fire and police commission has been interviewing 45 candidates in closed sessions in September and October.
