Arlington Heights Board Recommends Property Tax Increase

The Arlington Heights village board recommended a 1.84 percent increase in the property tax levy at a meeting Tuesday, the Daily Herald reported.

The newspaper reported that the increase would, on average, be about $19 for taxpayers. The increase still has to be approved by the board at its regular meeting. For more on this story click here.

The Arlington Heights village represents only one a portion of property tax bills. Other governmental entities, such as school districts, determine their own tax levies.
