Two Residential Burglaries at Arlington Heights Apartment Complex

Two apartments burglarized in Arlington Heights, burglar of burglars snuck in through first floor window, police said.

In the 900 block of E. Shady Way, two apartments were burglarized in November. According to the Arlington Heights Police Department, in both cases, the unknown offender of offenders entered the apartment through a first floor window.

Between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, the burglar(s) removed the following items from the apartment:

  • Gold wedding band – valued at $500
  • Diamond ring – valued at $500
  • Necklace – valued at $25
  • Bracelet – value unknown
  • Black Onyx rings (two) – value unknown
  • Snake ring – value unknown 

Not reported to police until Friday, Nov. 30, a different unit at that same apartment complex in the 900 block of E. Shady Way, was burglarized sometime between 6:45 a.m. Nov. 1 and 3:50 p.m. Nov. 2

The following items were stolen: 

  • Xbox Elite – valued at $360
  • iPod Touch – valued at $150
  • Xbox Wireless Controller – valued at $50 

The Arlington Heights Police Department is investigating the two residential burglaries at the complex.
