Northwest Suburban Man Jailed After Stabbing Dog to Death
Andrew J. Maynard, 18, of Elk Grove Village reportedly believed his father's dog was possessed, and stabbed the animal to death in April, the Chicago Tribune reports.
An 18-year-old Elk Grove man is behind bars after allegedly murdering his father's dog, because he believed it was possessed, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Andrew J. Maynard, reportedly admitted to being under the influence of drugs at the time of the incident, and faces an aggravated cruelty to animal charge for the April 21 stabbing of the dog, the Chicago Tribune reports. He was ordered held in lieu of $50,000 bail Sunday.
