Laseke was the sole occupant of the vehicle and the only person involved in the accident.

The preliminary investigation, according to police, showed that the vehicle left the private driveway at 1538 N. Courtland Drive and hit several objects, including a support pole below a second floor balcony and an electrical unit outside, according to witnesses at the scene.
