Arlington Heights Police Up Enforcement for Holidays
Arlington Heights Police Department plans to increase enforcement and roadside checks for the holidays.
The Arlington Heights Police Department will again be increasing patrols, working to keep the roads safe as holiday celebrations commence from Christmas to New Year's Eve during the holiday enforcement campaign.
Through grant assistance from the Illinois Department of Transportation, Arlington Heights police will be stepping up patrols as they have during past major holiday periods.
Designed by IDOT, the traffic safety enforcement campaigns coincide with selected holiday periods in which there are documented increases of traffic-related crashes and injuries, like Christmas and New Years.
