Arlington Heights Police Open Enrollment for Citizen Police Academy

The Citizen Police Academy is an 11-week program held once a week during a 3 hour night school class at the Arlington Heights Police Department. The academy provides hands-on experiences and insights into the nature and function of police services in Arlington Heights.

The academy includes classroom lessons, open discussions, multi-media presentations, demonstrations and practical exercises in all fields of police work ranging from patrol operations and forensics sciences to criminal investigations and gang crimes.

The Academy is provided free of charge to residents or business leaders from Arlington Heights in both spring and fall sessions.
