Arlington Heights Police Crime Alert: Shed Burglarized, Stolen Cell iPod

The Arlington Heights Police Department releases crime alerts weekly, and asks for the public's help by reporting information you may have confidentially.

The latest crime alert from the Arlington Heights Police Department. 

Burglary

Unknown offender(s) entered an unlocked, detached shed on a residential property in the 900 block of N. Arlington Heights Rd. sometime between Jan. 6 at 3 p.m. and Jan. 11 at 4:25 p.m. Taken was a Toro lawn mower valued at $300 and a Toro snow thrower valued at $600. Police believe the offender(s) bent open wire fencing along the property line to gain access to the yard.

Vehicle Burglary

Unknown offender(s) entered an unlocked black 2012 Hyndai Elantra parked in the 600 block of Rand Rd. sometime between Jan. 11 at 11 p.m. and Jan. 12 at 10:30 a.m. The vehicle was in a parking garage, and taken was a white 32g iPod valued at $250 and a Cobra cell phone charger with an estimated value of $20.
