Arlington Heights Police Assist Des Plaines PD in Capturing Felony Suspect

On Wednesday night, Arlington Heights and Des Plaines police surrounded a residence at Evergreen and White Oak. The man who resides there is being investigated for numerous domestic felonies, according to police.

An Arlington Heights man was apprehended Wednesday night by Des Plaines police detectives, with assistance from the Arlington Heights Police Department.

Just after 7 p.m. the suspect’s home, located near Evergreen and White Oak in Arlington Heights, was surrounded by police.

According to Arlington Heights Police Sergeant Jerry Lehnert, the suspect had allegedly committed offenses in Des Plaines, and Des Plaines police detectives were searching for him.

“The front door and garage were open [at the residence], and we found the individual’s vehicle in the garage, and he was at home,” Lehnert said.

Detective Michael Henee said the suspect, whose name is not yet being released, was take into custody just before 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, and is accused of numerous domestic-related felonies.
