Arlington Heights Fire Department Promotes Carpenter To Lieutenant
On Sept. 4, 2012, John Carpenter was promoted to Lieutenant.
A career that began 18 years is getting better, as John Carpenter became a Lieutenant at the in September.
Carpenter began with the department on May 23, 1994 and has taken on many responsibilities since that time.
He served as a Paramedic for nine years from 1998 to 2007. The newly minted Lieutenant currently serves as a Hazardous Material Technician and Instructor at the Arlington Heights Fire Academy.

Carpenter resides in LaGrange and has three children.
