Arlington Heights Crime: Residential Theft, Burglary and More
Burglary
An unknown offender entered Prospect Animal Hospital, 2326 E. Rand Rd., some time between 4 p.m., Oct. 18 and 8:30 a.m., Oct. 19, possibly through a rear door with an easily defeated loose lock and removed approximately $100 cash and a bottle of Ketamine, which is used as an animal tranquilizer.
An unknown offender entered Byul Bahm, 234 E. Golf Road, some time between 2 a.m. and 6:41 p.m., Oct. 17, without signs of force and removed two cases of Johnny Walker Black Whiskey valued at $700, six bottles of Patron Tequila valued at $300, four bottles of Grey Goose vodka valued at $120, and three cases of beer valued at $100.
An unknown offender forced open a front door in the 200 block of W. Central Road, at 2:24 p.m., Oct. 18, which activated the burglar alarm. Officers responded and checked the interior for an offender with negative results. The home owner was not available but it did not appear anything was disturbed.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
An unknown offender forced open the front doors of a home in the 2300 block of E. Gregory, some time between 8 a.m. and 5:26 p.m., Oct. 21, and removed an HP 14" laptop computer, two iPads, an iPod Touch, two Coach handbags and an unknown amount of jewelry
An unknown offender attempted to force entry into a residence in the 1600 block of W. Thomas St., some time between 1:15 and 1:30 p.m. through the front door. There is no damage estimate.

VEHICLE BURGLARY
An unknown offender entered a gray 2009 Nissan Versa in the 4100 block of Bloomington Ave, some time between 10 p.m., Oct. 17 and 8 a.m., Oct. 18, without signs of force and removed an audio cable and cell phone charger.
An unknown offender shattered the driver side window on a gray 2012 Kia Sedona at 555 W. Algonquin Road some time between 5 p.m. and 9:45 p.m., and removed two Apple iPhone 4 cell phones valued at $200 each, a black leather wallet containing approximately $90 cash and an Illinois Driver’s License.
