The latest Arlington Heights Police Crime Alert:
A residential burglary occurred in the 800 block of S. Ridge Ave. on May 1 between 8:20 p.m. and 9 p.m. The unknown offender(s) appear to have pried open the east side door of the residence, entered and and after going through a number of bedrooms, left with an unknowm amount of jewelry, police say.

A newer model silver sedan was seen quickly pulling up in front of the residence and two subjects got in before it left north bound. The subjects were M/W - 20 to 30yrs - gray hoodies - blue jeans.
