Residential Burglary Attempt
Unknown offender(s) removed a screen and attempted to pry open a rear window in the 100 block of Emersen St. sometime between March 17 at noon and March 19 at 5:40 p.m. The damage to the window and the frame is estimated at $250.

Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts
Unknown offender(s) removed four 6-inch center caps from the wheels of a white 2002 Cadillac DTS at the Salvation Army parking lot, 250 W. Rand Rd. on March 16 between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. The caps have "Cadillac" on them and their value is unknown.

Vehicle Burglary
Unknown offender(s) entered an unlocked beige 2003 Ford Taurus in the 900 block of N. Beverly, in a driveway, sometime between March 14 at 9 p.m. and March 15 at 9 a.m. A GPS valued at $100 was removed from the vehicle.
Unknown offender(s) shatterd the front passenger side window of a black 2010 Honda Odyssey at Heritage Park, 506 W. Victorial Ln., on March 16 between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. A Garmin GPS with mount valued at $200 was taken.
Unknown offender(s) entered an unlocked gold 2007 Cadillac DTS parked at St. James Church off the street, 800 N. Arlington Heights Rd., on March 17 between 7 a.m and 8 a.m. A Verizon LG black/silver cell phone valueda at $100 was taken.
Unknown offender(s) shattered the rear passenger side window of a white 2008 Suzuki SX4 in the Motel 6 parking lot, 441 W. Algonquin Rd., on March 17 between 12:30 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. A black leather jacket ($250), black/white purse ($60), two cell phones ($230/$130) and cash were taken. The damage to the window is estimated at $150.
