Arlington Heights Blotter: Stolen Bikes, Tools, Money

Arlington Heights Police Department reports from July 21 through July 25.

Vehicle Burglary 

A DVD play headset was stolen from an unlocked 2009 Honda Pilot on the 1700 block of W. Grove St. between July 22 at 8 p.m. and July 23 at 5 a.m. Offenders have yet to be identified. 

Unknown offenders stole a diaper bag, car charger, sunglasses, an emergency car kit and two IPods from a white 2012 Toyota Prius on the 1000 block of W. Hintz Rd. The incident occurred between July 19 at noon and July 23 at noon. The items stolen have an estimate value of $315.

Approximately 50 tools valued at more than $4,200, was stolen from a red 1998 Ford Econoline E150 van, on the 2400 block of S. Shag Bark Trail between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. on July 25.

Residential Burglary

Two bicycles, a brown 28 inch mountain bike, valued at $150 and a light green 16 BMX bicycle valued at $100, was stolen from an open attached garage on the 500 block of S. Cleveland. The incident occurred between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. on July 21. Offenders remain unknown. 

 

Theft

A gym locker, located at Forest View Fitness Club, 800 E. Falcon Dr., was forced into and $80 was removed between 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. on July 25. Offenders have yet to be identified.
