Arlington Heights Police Department reports from June 20 through 23.
Vehicle damage
A black 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee driver side rear tail light, front/rear doors, rear fender and hood was scratched by a hard object between June 20 at 7 p.m. and June 21 at 12:15 a.m. on the 600 block of N. Douglas Ave.
The scratches were 3 to 5 inches long. The damage amount and offender is unknown.

Vehicle Burglary

A Garmin GPS, valued at $150 was removed from a blue 2005 Ford Explorer after the driver side window was shattered between 4:20 p.m. and 5 p.m. June 22 at 2375 S. Arlington Heights Rd., Guitar Center parking lot. Offenders remain unknown.
Burglary
A public storage unit located at 900 E. Algonquin Rd., was smashed in, damaging the lock and handle between June 23 at 4 p.m. and June 24 at 5:54 a.m.
The door was found halfway open but nothing appears to missing at this time. The unit contained construction equipment. There were several fire extinguishers missing from the building and extinguisher propellant was on and around the damaged unit.
Theft
An American Flag and pole, valued at $25 was removed from the south side and a blue metal chair valued at $25 from the east side on the 1500 block of N. Yale, a residential yard. The incident occurred between June 11 at 8 a.m. and June 15 at 11 p.m. and reported to police on June 21. The police do not have any offenders in custody.
Property Damage
Two aluminum overhead garage door panels were damaged between June 22 at 7 p.m. and June 23 at 4 p.m. on the 4100 Block of N. Highland Ave. The damage estimate is between $500-$1,000 and offenders have not been identified.
