Obituary: Nicole Marie Brodzik, 32 of Elk Grove Village

Nicole Marie Brodzik was born on April 16, 1981 in Chicago to Michael Pizza and Joella Daniels. She passed Wednesday, June 19, 2013 in Elk Grove Village.

Mrs. Brodzik worked as an Infection Control Coordinator for the Alexian Brothers Network. She was a member of APIC (Association of Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology), and various other nursing associations. Nicole was a very selfless, caring, kind person. She always placed others before herself. She liked to shop and very much appreciated high end designers. She enjoyed dinners out, movies at home, and spending time with her family, especially her nieces, nephew and dog.

Nicole is survived by her high school sweetheart and spouse, Jonathan Brodzik; Michael & Shari Pizza (father & stepmother); Joella & Mark Daniels (mother & stepfather); John & Tina Brodzik (father-in-law & mother-in-law); her loving grandparents; her siblings, Jason & Allison, Mark, Brandon, Christina & Jeremy and Sara; her nieces and nephew, MacKenzie, Devyn, Madison, Kendall, Kassidy & Aidan; and her beloved dog, Gus.

Memorial Visitation from 3:00PM until 9:00PM, Monday, June 24, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., Arlington Heights. Interment private.
