Village Bank & Trust Selects Arlene J. Mulder as a Member of the Board of Directors

Arlene J. Mulder, retired Mayor of Arlington Heights, was recently elected as a member of the Village Bank & Trust (“VBT”) Board of Directors.  

Mulder announced her retirement as Mayor of Arlington Heights after twenty consecutive years in office.

Her reputation as an outstanding civic official is well known in local and national arenas.  She has been a strong leader - advocating the Village of Arlington Heights, promoting business acquisition/development, rejuvenating the downtown, and making community events a priority.

“Mulder concluded a distinguished career of public service including serving as mayor of Arlington Heights for the past 20 years,” said VBT Chairman, Michael Polanski. “We are looking forward to her contributions to the Board as we continue to make VBT the very best community bank around.”

In addition to serving on the VBT Board, Mulder will continue to keep her seats on the Metra Transportation Board, the O’Hare Noise Compatibility Commission, and various local organizations.
