It’s Princess Aurora’s

sixteenth birthday, and three fairies – Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather – must

use their magic to save her from the spell of evil Sorceress – Malificent. This

adaptation of the Disney animated film is presented by the participants of the

ArtReach Educational Theatre Summer Camp.





The production is

directed by Dan Walsh (of Chicago) and Jonah Parra (of Chicago), Musical

Direction by Jessica Texidor (of Chicago) and choreographed by Dan Walsh (of

Chicago), Breton Spiller (of Mt. Prospect), and Dylan DeWitt (of Buffalo

Grove.)





The cast

includes Victoria Walsh (or Arlington Heights) as Princess Aurora, Matthew

Smalec (of Palatine) as the Prince, Isabel Kaegi (or Palatine) as Merryweather,

Jodie Lloyd (of Itasca) as Flora, Zoe Morehead (of Mt. Prospect) as Fauna,

Kevin Foss (of Palatine) as King Stephan, Mikayla Rau (of Palatine) as Queen

Stephanie, and Rose Gould (of Palatine) as Maleficent.





The mission of ArtReach

Educational Theatre
 is to expose children to all aspects of theatre,

music and dance. We accept any child from Beginner to Advanced performing

levels with a genuine interest in the arts from age 5 through high school. All

children are challenged and encouraged. We offer Private Voice Lessons, Dance

and Acting Classes, Advanced Musical Theatre Workshops and Summer Arts Camp

Programs in Palatine, IL.
