Caring Santa at Woodfield Mall

Woodfield Mall will
host a special event dedicated to families that have children with special
needs during Caring Santa. This unique event will allow families to enjoy one
of the holiday’s joyous memories by providing a subdued environment surrounding
Santa’s ‘Ice Palace’.

Woodfield Mall staff will turn off in-mall
music, stop escalators located near the Santa set, dim the lights, and shut
down fountains during the duration of the event.  Staff will also be instructed to avoid flash
photography and distracting movements. 
In addition, queue lines will be eliminated through the use of a
numbering system whereby guests approach the set when their number is called.
Children will be provided with complimentary coloring sheets while they wait to
take their photo with Santa.
