Treat Mom to Brunch in Arlington Heights

Mother's Day is a coming quickly so don't be left scrambling. Arlington Patch has some ideas for brunch.

 

Mother's Day is the perfect time to treat the moms, grandmas, sisters and aunts in your life! Celebrate the holiday, which falls on Sunday, May 12 this year, by enjoying a delicious brunch at a favorite restaurant in Arlington Heights.

Cost: $39 for adults, $17 for children under 11 and children 3 and under are free.

Seating: 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

All your favorite brunch items along with some yummy new ones like butternut squash ravioli with pesto cream sauce, and banana stuffed French toast. Plus, there’s a kids buffet with homemade Mac and cheese, French fries and carrot and celery sticks with ranch dressing. Reservations are required.

Cost: Items are ala carte ranging from $12.99 to $14.99.

Seating: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Chef recommendations will be available at 2 p.m.

The restaurant will have its regular brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a complimentary mimosa, Bellini or glass of sparkling wine. Items are ala cart ranging from $12.99 to $14.99. Starting at 2 p.m., it offers the chef recommendations of surf-n-turf with Parmesan crusted lobster tail with chardonnay. Or mushroom roasted salmon with fingerling potatoes, grape tomatoes, asparagus and spinach in white wine herb broth. Desert is Godiva Chocolate Mousse. If you want Mom to have a unique experience, the restaurant offers wine tastings all day.

Enjoy an Irish Fry Breakfast on Mother’s Day at the popular downtown restaurant. An Irish breakfast includes basher, or Irish bacon, black and white puddings and potato pancakes. The day’s menu includes other favorites like corned beef hash.

Arlington Park

2200 W. Euclid Ave.

Cost: Different packages are available. The Million Room’s package is $47 for adults, $20 for children 10 and under. Children 3 and under are free.

Seating: 12 to 6 p.m.

If you are looking for an elegant way to celebrate your Mom, Arlington Park will treat her like a million with the Million Room’s Mother’s Day brunch. The brunch has traditional items along with a whoopee pie station. There will be a full day of racing, too, but admission and Daily Racing Guide is extra. There are special packages that include brunch and admission. The Park has other restaurants, including the new Silks at 2200 where Mother’s Day Brunch includes a four-hour beer and wine package. The cost is $73 for adults, $52 for children 12-20 and $32 for children 4-11. Children 3 and under are free.

And if going out to brunch isn't your style, a chocolate chip pancake breakfast in bed will brighten any mom's day.
