Arlington Theaters Closes, Unable To Reach New Deal

Unable to reach a new lease deal, Arlington Theaters closed Sunday.

According to the Daily Hearld, the Arlington Theaters, located at 53 S. Evergreen Ave., closed Sunday after negoitiations fell through for a new lease and the opportunity to upgrade

The theater was owned by Arlington Heights Village Board member John Scaletta. With the theater closing, 25 workers have been cut, the Daily Herald reports. 

Scaletta told the Daily Hearld, that he feels bad for the staff and community.
