Frontier Days July 3-7 at Recreation Park

The five day celebration will include a variety of musical acts, and carnivals and dozens and dozens of activities for individuals and families.

Frontier Days in Arlington Heights is quickly approaching, a sure sign that summer is finally upon us. 

The festivities begin on Wednesday, July 3 at 5 p.m. with the start of the carnival and a performance by Sawyer Brown to kick off the five day, 4th of July celebration in the village. 

The annual 4th of July parade will be held on Thursday, July 4 starting at 10 a.m., followed by dozens of activities ranging from a petting zoo and pony rides, to bingo and a rib eating contest, with Here Come the Mummies performing in the evening. 

The carnival will continue from Friday, July 5 through Sunday, July 7 with evening musical acts including The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Brett Michaels and American English. Clowns, jugglers, water fights, decorated cake contests and baggo tournaments are but a small sampling of the wide range of activities available for individuals and families.
