School of Rock Hosts Camp for Kids Ages 6-8

School of Rock in Arlington Heights is offering a two-day camp for kids. "Rookies: Intro to Rock Camp" is for aspiring rockers ages 6 to 8 years old. Working together in daily group lessons and workshops, students will be introduced to each of the core rock instruments: guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and vocals. Campers will learn some basic fundamentals of each instrument and what makes each one unique.

If you have a budding musician who is unsure of which instrument to pursue, this camp will offer a great introduction to a variety of instruments, aid them in their decision and increase their music appreciation. For more information on the camp, see the School of Rock website.
