The Food Trucks Are Coming!

Weather forced us to reschedule our anniversary picnic earlier this month so now Sunday, September 29 is the day!

Redemption Bible Church is celebrating its fourth year with a picnic that will look nothing like your typical church potluck. All food for the event will be available for purchase from two popular Chicago-based food trucks: The Salsa Truck & Haute & Ready. Both trucks will be accepting either cash or credit cards.

Join us at 9:00 a.m. at Prospect High School’s Theater for our weekly worship service, then at 11:00 a.m. head just down the street to Prospect Meadows Park at North Forest Avenue and West Bob-O-Link Road  (click for map) for the picnic. The park has a playground for kids, a backstop and baseball diamond, basketball hoops, and a picnic pavilion. You’re welcome to bring a lawn chair, blanket, and/or sporting equipment. Count on tasty food, great fellowship, and an epic game of kickball!
